I recommend to anyone that will listen to me to start a blog! Anyone can set one up and free if you use Wordpress.com or Blogger. The main reason I get from people about not writing a blog is that they don’t have time. Then I see posts on MySpace or Facebook from those same people! Why are we making Facebook rich? I have a hard time with social networking. My Twitter posts are pretty much limited to blog updates. I understand why people use social networking. It’s a great way to meet new people. But why not dedicate a bit of time writing on your own blog and having the option to monetize at some point?
Whats Your Passion?
The main thing with a blog is figuring out what it is you are passionate about. That’s not hard really. Just ask yourself a few questions. What do you do every day that you look forward to doing? How much do you know about that? Could you write 100 words a day on that subject?
I think another reason why some don’t want to write a blog is because they are scared nobody is going to read it. It’s very important not to care about that! And if you can’t get over that than write the blog anonymously. Just use a different name than yours and start writing! If it’s anonymous than you can misspell words, use bad grammar, use run-on sentences and overall not make any sense whatsoever and who’s gonna make fun of you? Nobody that knows you. Go to Blogger right now and write something.
